In this short clip, Fox CT’s Sarah Cody and I discuss how I used yoga and meditation (among other tools) to reclaim my health after a 12 year battle with depression, anxiety and a misdiagnosis of bipolar disorder.

Now the mom of a nearly 3 year old, my yoga and meditation practices are more important to me than ever.

The house is a mess… the laundry is overflowing… you’ve got food boiling on the stove… the phone is ringing… and the toddler is bouncing around the house like a tornado… it’s in these moments that yoga and meditation are needed the most in life. In these moments—when life seems like it’s spiraling out of control—these practices keep me calm and collected.

Being a mom is the toughest job there is, and it’s one of my greatest joys to help moms find their way in this life.
