It was late Thursday night and I was on my way home from teaching three back-to-back yoga classes. I’d had an incredibly challenging week. It was one of those weeks where I believed “everything was going wrong.” Normally, just as I do on my mat, I try not to judge things as good or bad, because I find that when I judge, I suffer.

Legs Up For Stress Relief – Try Therapeutic Yoga At Home!

Feeling stressed or overwhelmed? Take six minutes to bring yourself back. Set an alarm for six minutes, throw your legs up on the couch (backs of calf muscles rest on cushions), bring your hands on your belly, close your eyes and consciously deepen your breath. Inhale and exhale slowly and evenly. Relax and let go as much as possible.
